Two of Australian greatest loves have finally joined forces in the most holiest of unholy communions — footy and KFC.

Yes, you read that right.

Don’t lose your shit Geelong fans, but you’re club just penned it’s greatest contract since luring Patrick Dangerfield over from Adelaide — and the windfall for club members and ticket holders is out of this world.

The promotion the Cats are running in conjunction with the greatest fast food franchise in the world is labelled, ‘Kickin’ For Chicken’ and it’s and absolute ripper.

For the remaining home games at Kardinia Park this season — yes, all SEVEN of them — If an opposition players kicks a set shot out on the full from inside 50m in the last quarter, every Geelong member and ticket holder will receive a free KFC ‘Zinger Burger’.

That’s right, a Zinger Burger, some of The Colonel’s greatest ever work, will be yours for free if an opposition player kicks a set shot out on the full.

And the best news for Cats fans? You’ve got the Dogs tomorrow night and Travis Cloke is a chance of playing.

So if you’re a Geelong fan, I would seriously consider loading up on Geelong memberships, because as the saying goes, ‘a KFC Zinger Burger won, is better than a KFC Zinger Burger earned’.

Unfortunately for Geelong fans they don’t host Essendon at Kardinia Park in 2018, which comes as great news to KFC who were worried about going bankrupt if Joe Daniher took part in the Kickin’ For Chicken promotion.
